Important Notice
This End User License Agreement is between you and Dear Krishna only, and not with Apple. Dear Krishna is solely responsible for the app and app content, subject to applicable law.
1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Dear Krishna, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
This EULA supplements applicable Apple Media Services terms and App Store usage rules.
2. License Scope
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on compatible Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple usage rules.
You may not rent, lease, sublicense, redistribute, reverse engineer, disassemble, or create derivative works from the app except where expressly permitted by law.
3. Description of Service
Dear Krishna provides spiritual reflection features such as:
- Daily Bhagavad Gita reading and reflection experiences.
- Text-based conversations and guided voice interactions.
- Free and paid tiers managed via App Store subscriptions.
Dear Krishna is for reflection and guidance only. It is not medical care, legal advice, financial advice, crisis support, or emergency assistance.
4. Eligibility
- You must meet the minimum legal age in your region (at least 13 where required).
- You must use a supported iOS device and a valid Apple ID.
- You must not use the app in violation of applicable law.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
5.1 Free Access
Dear Krishna may include free usage with feature limits.
5.2 Paid Access
Paid plans are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase. Available plans, price points, and trial options are shown in the app before purchase confirmation.
5.3 Billing Terms
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before period end.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Any unused free-trial time is forfeited after subscription purchase where applicable.
5.4 Manage or Cancel
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings at any time.
5.5 RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to verify receipts and determine entitlement access. Apple remains the payment processor for in-app purchases.
6. Refunds and Restores
Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be made through Apple, including Report a Problem. You can use "Restore Purchases" in-app to recover previous paid access.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for unlawful, abusive, or harmful activity.
- Attempt to interfere with app operation, security, or infrastructure.
- Scrape, copy, or automate misuse of the app without permission.
8. Maintenance and Support
Dear Krishna provides support for the app. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the app.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dear Krishna is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising out of app use.
11. Termination and Updates
We may update these Terms or app features at any time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms. We may suspend access for misuse or legal compliance requirements.
12. Apple EULA and Law
Where applicable, these Terms are interpreted alongside Apple's standard EULA: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula .
